In order to foment this excitement, CD Projekt Red has released a new launch trailer for the upcoming title on YouTube. The two-minute video places a strong emphasis on protagonist V and the journey they take through Night City. Death is a very common topic of discussion in the trailer, which sets V up for a clearly plot-significant brush with their own mortality. The character's relationship with the dangerous dystopian city around them is also a major focus, and it's obvious that their actions in the game will likely shake Night City to its core, and possibly even burn it to the ground. To that end, the trailer is based around a central question posed by an NPC at the end of the trailer: "Would you rather live in peace as Mr. Nobody... or go down for all times in a blaze of glory?" Cyberpunk 2077 ’s developer has shared its concerns over content creators getting their hands on early copies of the game . In an open letter posted on Twitter, the studio has stressed that the ultimate goal of releasing the title is to let everyone enjoy the game equally without any spoilers. In order to keep the excitement over playing Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time intact, developers are asking content creators not to stream or share any video content recorded in the game until a very specific time and date, 12 PM CET/3 AM PST on December 9. Otherwise, CDPR won’t hesitate to take down videos that violate the code of conduct, which might negatively affect those streamers who willingly let unauthorized content slip through. Once the deadline passes, everyone will be welcome - and even encouraged - to stream any parts of the g
With press copies of **Cyberpunk 2077 ** being sent to reviewers and content creators, developers from CD Projekt Red are asking early players to restrain from spoiling the game’s story and gameplay until launch. Quite recently, the studio has also abandoned its initial plans to reveal early information regarding future DLC that will be instead detailed in 2
It shouldn’t be surprising that CDPR wants to protect both its game and fans from spoiled experience. Considering the amount of effort put into developing **Cyberpunk 2077 ** (not to mention all the crunch accusations), the Polish studio has all the rights to be precautious in warning content creators. The game might turn out to be the magnum opus for CDPR, and it understandably wants an unaffected reception from the commun
It's not likely that CD Projekt Red intended to make Cyberpunk 2077 difficult for epileptic gamers. But the world is a wide and complicated place, and it's hard to take into account every variable that might prevent a person from enjoying a game. One hopes that CD Projekt Red will take this news into account and maybe add visual filters for the benefit of epileptic gamers in a future update. In the meantime, photosensitive fans will have to take special care when they play _Cyberpunk 2077
The question of accessibility in video games is a big one. By their very nature, video games are a highly visual medium, which can make it much harder for people with visual issues to partake. A YouTube video released back in August shows the difficulties of trying to play a video game with partial blindness , and appeals to the video game industry for help. More and more developers are becoming conscious of video game accessibility, and that's good, but it's a conversation that can never really
A screenshot of the actual map in-game, provided courtesy of GadgetGang , doesn't reveal any spoilers per se, but it does show just click the following web site how much there is to do in Cyberpunk 2077 . The map is huge, as was expected, but what wasn't expected is the sheer density of Night City. The screencap comes from early gameplay, which means that even in the initial chapters of the story, there's already eleven active mission markers, along with a ton of other stuff to do and
Unfortunately, not all aspects of the game's visual presentation are worth getting excited about. A Game Informer correspondent has issued a PSA to alert fans about certain elements that do not play well with epilepsy, having encountered at least one seizure herself while playing. General triggers were identified from the red glitching visual effect that pops up frequently throughout the story progression, as well as flickering pale blue lights that appear when talking to Keanu Reeves' character, Johnny Silverhand . Due to the bombastic nature of Night City, the correspondent identified several "danger zones" for epileptic gamers when entering bars and nightclubs. The game's Braindance mechanic was identified as a particular area of concern; the headset that the protagonist dons to engage with the mechanic bears a surprising similarity to a medical headset used to trigger seizures, and is unfortunately roughly as effective. The correspondent recommends looking away whenever the headset appears, and using caution and, if possible, the buddy system to navigate the Braindance mechanic its
