To me, the real stand-out is the writing. It's a story-driven RPG, and it involves a lot of reading. Basically, anything outside of walking from point A to point B is conveyed to you through the writing. It can be confusing at first, but you get the hang of it quickly. I didn't even mind having to read that much -- the writing is just so good that it made me angry that I didn't write it myself.
