Twitch streamers from across the globe have taken an interest lately with Escape From Tarkov , a hardcore survival shooter created by the Russian Battlestate Games. Its unforgiving gameplay yet accessible nature makes it one of the most engaging shooters of recent mem  
More often than not, heavy-handed realism isn't a good place for games to go. Escape From Tarkov is a constant gamble, as death is permanent. Players are weighing the cost-benefit ratios of taking a risk at every moment, doing their best to determine whether or not a reward is worth potentially losing everything else.
